Traveling from Schiphol to Leiden
Traveling by train in the most convenient and easy way to get from Schiphol Airport to Leiden. To do this, when you land at Schiphol, you will need to proceed to the train station area within the airport. Purchase a single ticket to Leiden Central Station at one of the yellow kiosks or a teller at a window (cost is 5,80 EUR). You can then take any intercity or sprinter train that stops at Leiden Centraal. The travel time is approximately 15-20 min. Do not forget to check-in using your ticket at one of the poles you encounter when going downstairs to the platforms.
The conference location (Museum Volkenkunde) is located less than 0.5km away from the train station (a 5 minutes walk). Take the main exit of the train station and continue walking straight ahead until you cross the first canal. Turn right immediately after crossing the canal and continue walking for an additional 100 meters. The Volkenkunde Museum will be located to your left. The address is Museum Volkenkunde, Steenstraat 1, 2312 BS Leiden.
